At Idlib Health Directorate, we consistently seek to highlight the pivotal role of local health facilities and institutions in strengthening health systems through our regional and international engagements.

Believing that empowering local health authorities is fundamental to building a healthy society capable of effectively facing future challenges, the Director of Idlib Health Directorate, Dr. Zohair Al-Karrat, alongside the regional director of MedGlobal, Dr. Anas Barbor, spoke during their participation in the Humanitarian Work Conference about the importance of supporting and empowering local institutions to establish sustainable and robust health systems, noting the challenges faced in various crises such as the earthquake response, forced displacement and Covid-19 pandemic.

The photos are from the Idlib Health Directorate’s participation with numerous local and international organizations at the "Locally Led Humanitarian Work" conference, organized by the Humanitarian Leadership Academy in collaboration with Save the Children under the theme "Towards Local Humanitarian Management." The conference was held over three days in Gaziantep, southern Turkey.
