On September 16th and 17th, 2024, the Idlib Health Directorate hosted a scientific pediatric conference organized by SAMS. The conference sessions included important scientific lectures delivered by Syrian doctors who came from the United States. These lectures addressed topics such as malnutrition, malabsorption, failure to thrive in children, common congenital heart defects, epilepsy treatment, respiratory distress, and anemia in children.

The conference was attended by pediatricians (specialists and residents), doctors from other specialties, as well as sixth-year medical students. The significance of such conferences lies in enhancing the level of our medical staff, keeping them informed of the latest advancements in various medical fields, and promoting opportunities for intellectual exchange and interaction with Syrian doctors residing in different parts of the world.
