In a step considered the first of its kind, the Health Cluster held its first meeting in NW Syria, in the presence of Idlib Health Directorate and representatives of partner organizations working in the health sector. The meeting was attended by directors of health facilities and representatives of partner organizations, during which attendees discussed the most important issues related to the health sector and mechanisms for dealing with reduced funding. Dr. Zuhair Al-Karrat also shared the most important plans that Idlib Health Directorate is adopting to implement to confront the challenges related to the lack of funding, by working to develop a map of health services and new work strategies that are commensurate with the current reality.
