In order to continue working and interacting with partners in order to enhance efforts aimed at developing the quality of health care in northwestern Syria, the Idlib Health Directorate participated in the twenty-second SAMS International Conference in Istanbul, which was held over two days under the title “Reviving Hope: Enhancing the Quality of Health Care through Development and Medical Education." A group of doctors and humanitarian workers participated in this event. The participants discussed ways to improve the health care situation and raise the quality of services provided in northern Syria. The sessions also addressed various topics, including gaps in health care, the challenges of early recovery, and the importance of medical education. In turn, we participated in the Idlib Health Directorate with the most important solutions that we adopt to implement in order to confront the challenges related to the lack of funding, by working to develop a map of health services and new work strategies that suit the current reality, and in a way that ensures the continued access of health services to our people in northern Syria.
