Idlib Health Directorate Participates in the "Economic Empowerment and Sustainability in Syria" Conference The conference sessions were held over two days in Istanbul. Under the slogan "Empowerment is the Basis for Stability, Dr. Zuhair Al-karrat, Idlib Health Director, spoke about the importance of rehabilitating basic infrastructure, especially hospitals, health centers, specialized centers, water and sanitation infrastructure, and schools.

He also emphasized the important role of empowering health workers by attracting expertise and training health cadres in northern Syria, He also stressed the urgent need for a health information system, with a focus on mental health programs and the empowerment of people with disabilities.

In the second session, with a group of academics and doctors, the attendees discussed the reality of infrastructure and governance in the education and health sectors and their relationship to economic development, They also discussed successful strategies and programs that support the basis for comprehensive economic growth, focusing on building strong health systems, providing comprehensive health care, and providing academic medical education for young people and medical cadres.
