The second medical mission of the British David Nott Foundation concluded its mission in Idlib Governorate, where it completed, over the course of five days, a course of specific training and complex surgical operations at Aqrabat Hospital, in addition to workshops in orthopedic and reconstructive surgery. .

The mission's tasks were divided into two teams: the first team conducted training on surgery in dangerous environments, which included all types of surgery, and targeted 36 doctors with various specialties. The second team performed 35 qualitative surgical procedures that varied between reconstructive and cosmetic procedures in the lower and upper limbs. The David Nott Foundation cooperated with The Syrian Board of Medical Specialties #SBOMS to prepare a team of trainers of Syrian doctors residing in northern Syria who provided some training during the mission’s tasks.

At the conclusion of the mission’s tasks, Dr. Zuhair Al-karrat, Idlib Health Director , presented a plaque of thanks and gratitude to Dr. David Nott, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, in appreciation of the distinguished partnership between the Idlib Health Directorate, the #David_Nott Foundation, and the #action_for_Humanity organization in this context, and in recognition of the great and continuous efforts that the Foundation has made for more than ten years of raising the efficiency of medical personnel working in the region, through continuous medical missions that provide high-quality training and perform high-quality surgical operations on a number of patients
