In collaboration with the Idlib Health Directorate IHD, the Syrian Board of Medical Specialties(SBOMS) organized the second scientific conference titled "Advancements in Cardiac Diseases." with the participation of a group of cardiologists and internal medicine practitioners working in the northern Syrian region.

The conference sessions covered various important medical topics related to cardiac diseases based on the European Society of Cardiology (ECS) and the American Heart Association (AHA) recommendations. Among the prominent topics discussed were acute coronary syndrome, valvular heart diseases, myocarditis, myocardial infarction, heart diseases and diabetes, and lipid disorders in adults.

Medical scientific conferences play a crucial role as they provide a platform for specialists to meet, exchange experiences, and discuss the latest global health recommendations. This contributes to enhancing the efficiency of our medical professionals and improving the quality of healthcare services provided to the residents in the region.
